The Prof Pusher is a rust-free cuticle pusher with scraper function — also known in the trade as a cuticle pusher or simply pusher. It is made of medical steel that has been made particularly durable through heat treatment and is guaranteed rust-free — hand-finished, as befits high-quality manicure instruments.

The pusher is used in the preparation step of every nail enhancement: first, the eponychium — the living skin fold — is gently pushed back, then the cuticle, the dead skin on the nail plate, is lifted off with the scraper side. Only this thorough preparation creates the clean nail plate on which dehydrator, primer and base gel can work reliably — the most effective prevention against later lifting.

Like all metal tools, after cleaning off organic residues the pusher is sprayed with alcoholic tool disinfectant, rinsed off after the exposure time and stored dry. A basic instrument that no studio should be without.
