Primer THF — the acid-based adhesion promoter in a bottle

The primer is the classic acid-based adhesion promoter — colloquially also called "bonding" — for anyone whose nail enhancements tend to lift despite careful preparation. After nail prep, it is applied thinly to the nail plate; it draws fat out of all nail layers and removes moisture from the natural nail. This creates the adhesive base for gel, polygel and acrylic.

Crucial to its effect: always wait for the drying time, because the primer develops its adhesive effect while drying. First wipe off any excess on the bottle neck or dab it onto a dry cloth — if the layer is too thick, the surface only appears to dry. Because of its acid content, the liquid must not come into contact with the cuticle; all prep liquids belong exclusively on the natural nail. The primer is free from HEMA and Di-HEMA.

Available in a 13 ml bottle as well as a precise Primer Stick. For sensitive nails and cuticles, we recommend the acid-free Acid Free primer; for optimal storage, keep the bottle at room temperature.
