Nail Prep Dehydrator — the foundation against lifting
The Nail Prep Dehydrator — colloquially also called “nail dryer” — is the first step of chemical nail preparation, before the primer. The liquid removes moisture from the natural nail, cleanses and disinfects it, and balances the pH level. This creates the base on which primer, base gel, and builder gel hold reliably — the most important preparation against lifting, i.e. areas where the enhancement later peels off.
After applying it with the brush, wait for it to dry, then apply the primer. The composition is identical to Spray Prep; if you prefer spraying during sculpting with forms, go for the spray version. Nail Prep is especially recommended when building with tips. Like all prep liquids, it is applied exclusively to the natural nail. The dehydrator is free of HEMA and Di-HEMA.
Note: The liquid is sensitive to heat and light and may turn yellowish from filtered daylight or UV light — without affecting its other properties or its use.
