Gel Tip Glue – extra thick, THF

The Gel Tip Glue is an extra thick adhesive gel for the new generation of flexible gel tips – also known in the studio as tip gel or gel tip glue. In the 5-ml size, it is intended for the targeted attachment of press-on or gel tips.

According to the supplier, the high viscosity prevents the material from running or the tip from slipping during positioning. This allows the tips to be aligned in a controlled manner on the prepared natural nail and fixed without air bubbles. For adhesion, the manufacturer recommends using a base gel, such as a base or hardener gel with only a minimal dispersion layer; the manufacturer advises against particularly rubbery bases such as SmartGummy for this technique.

The curing time is 2–3 minutes under UV light and 1–2 minutes under LED light. This creates a stable bond for gel tip enhancements where the tip must sit precisely before shape and design are further built up.
