C Curve Holder – tool for the C-curve
The C Curve Holder is a shaping tool for the C-curve of the enhancement. For context: the C-curve – colloquially also called the "C-swing" or "tunnel" – refers to the transverse arch of the nail in frontal view, i.e. the curve from sidewall to sidewall. Not to be confused with the apex, the highest point of the enhancement in side view. Together, both determine the structure of the extension.
This is exactly where the holder helps when shaping the transverse arch: it holds the tip or enhancement in the desired arch while the material takes its shape or cures. This is especially relevant for longer extensions and narrow, elegant shapes, where a too-flat C-curve costs stability and a too-tight one makes wearing uncomfortable. With this tool you work out the arch in a controlled way instead of having to correct it afterwards.
For studios that regularly do extensions, the C Curve Holder is a sensible specialty tool – and as an outlet item, a great opportunity to professionalize the shaping of the C-curve.
