3 Step CrystaLac — the classic three-step gel polish
The 3 Step CrystaLac is a light-curing gel polish (UV polish; colloquially often — not entirely correct in trademark terms — referred to as "Shellac") for three-step polishing: adhesion layer (Base), color layer (Color) and sealing (Top Coat). If you want full control over the structure, coverage and finish of each individual layer, you work with this system instead of a one-step polish.
With around 200 shades, the 3 Step CrystaLac offers the widest color range in our CrystaLac family — from subtle nudes to classic rosé and red tones to neon and seasonal shades. Every shade has its 3S number, so you can reorder your favorite shades directly by number. Available in 4 ml for getting started and rarer shades, and in 8 ml for regular salon use; eleven shades come in the HEMA-free version (marked as THF).
The creamy, self-leveling consistency applies especially evenly and leaves a streak-free surface with high coverage — which builds up after just a few layers. The polish lasts up to three weeks and can be soaked off quickly and easily. Suitable for classic polishing on natural nails as well as a color layer on enhancements.
Application
- Prepare as usual and apply a base — for example Compact Base Gel, Compact Base Gel PRO, Builder Base Gel, Base Gel or Elasty Hardener Gel — and cure.
- Apply the 3 Step CrystaLac and cure. Curing time: 2–3 minutes in a UV lamp or 1–2 minutes in an LED lamp, depending on lamp power.
- Seal with a high-quality Top Gel for long-lasting shine and optimal protection.
- Removal: quick and easy to soak off.
